Our College is committed to providing a caring, empowering, safe, supportive and growth-focused environment for all students, staff and members of our Muslim community within an Islamic environment. We recognise the importance of the partnership between our school, the parents, and the community to support student learning, engagement and wellbeing. We share a commitment to, and a responsibility for, nurturing faith in our students guided by the Islamic framework and embedding Islamic Ethos in every aspect of school life (refer to AICC Islamic Ethos Statement – Appendix 1).
We believe that students learn in different ways, absorb information at different paces, and have talents in different areas. Our staff endeavour to ensure that each child receives the educational experience and support that will allow them to flourish according to their own strengths and interests in a student-centred and growth focused approach. With the growth focused approach, we aim for our students to become innovators and leaders of tomorrow.
We have a strong focus on developing students’ literacy and numeracy skills as well as deepening their knowledge and understanding of the world around them. At AICC students are empowered to take ownership of their learning, make purposeful contributions and tackle issues arising in the world around them.
